Clean out the "junk" files in your Windows 95/98 system, using Fred Langa's Clean9X Batch files. |
Note: press F11 key for Full Screen view

To use the Cleanall.bat file, locate it in Windows Explorer by: 1) Right click on the My Computer Icon on the Desktop 2) Select Explore 3. Select the C:\ drive in the left pane view 4) In the right pane view, scroll down to the "Clean9x" shortcut icon, as shown in the picture below. 5) Double click on the clean9x icon. |

You will see a dialog box advising that Windows will close and asking if you wish to continue. The program will close Windows and go into Disk Operating System (DOS). When you get to a prompt telling you to either quit or press any key to continue, press one of the arrow keys on your keyboard. The program will begin removing unnecessary files from your system. When finished, the program will run a scandisk operation and then restart Windows. |
